patients may be depressed

highly satisfied with Medicare HMOs
Despite upheaval in the managed care market, Medicare HMOs continue to be highly rated by
their members, new survey results indicate.
Both the percentage of Americans who say that they are "highly satisfied" and
those who say that they intend to stick with their plans rose in 1999, according to the
Atlanta-based company Caredata.com.
The survey found that 68.5% of respondents were highly satisfied in 1999, versus 66.9% in
1998; and 80.8% of respondents said that they were likely to re-enroll, versus 78.6% in
1998 |
