Efficient Push-Ups
When you do push-ups, the placement of
your hands and arms is very important.
To work your chest, upper back, and shoulders, with extra
attention to your triceps, place your hands next to your chest with your fingertips at
nipple height.
Tuck your elbows close to your waist, pointing back.
Spread your fingers flat with the weight evenly distributed
on them and slide your shoulders down and away from your ears.
Exhale during the upward phase of the push-up and don't lock
your elbows at the top.
Return to the floor with slow, even pressure.
