Safe Food Tips for Parties
 When taking a hot
covered dish to a party, pack it in an insulated chest, then keep hot.
When going to a picnic or
traveling with food, keep all perishables in a cooler with ice or freeze-packs until
serving time.
Hot food that has been held
at room temperature for 2 hours or more during serving is not safe anymore and should be
discarded.
Always wash hands with soap
and warm water for at least 30 seconds before serving or eating food.
If soap and water will not
be available, take along disposable wet hand wipes to clean hands.
