At PMC, we have developed a system for handling occupational injuries that gives employers a disability status and an expected time the injured employee will be able to perform limited or normal duties.

WorkMed is geared to provide optimally efficient medical treatment for job-related injuries or illnesses, and is accomplished by integrating cost-effective medical treatment and rehabilitation therapy with a return to work regimen.

For the employee, the program is focused on full recovery and reduction of lost work days. For employers and worker's compensation insurance carriers, the treatment program realizes overall reduction in medical costs and disability compensation.

Prevention First

Prevention of work-related injuries and illnesses is the optimal workplace goal any employer would aspire to. Unfortunately, accidents by their nature are unpredictable and sometimes unavoidable. Despite this fact, much can be done to minimize injuries in the workplace. As part of our WorkMed Program, we can assist you in tailoring pre-employment, pre-placement and continuing annual employment evaluations and physical examinations that help you in selecting the most suitable candidates for your job openings.
